Why is this?
I talked to ZoE's vet at her last visit, when all her shots were complete, about when to get her spayed. Her Vet said anytime after 6 months, but he seemed more concerned with making sure her teeth were all in when he did it so that if she was retaining baby teeth, he could pull them at that time. I asked, what if her teeth aren't all in yet & she goes into heat early (seriously don't know if that's a dumb question...) but he looked at me like I was a little strange (but he's done that a few times before...

) and just said, then we spay her after her heat cycle.
