Maybe you can get those little stairs to put beside of the bed and put a pee pee pad at the foot of it. I saw on another post that Target sells them at a reasonable price. Our dogs can get off the bed but they can't jump onto it. I have two yorkies and I cannot imagine them not sleeping in our bed! My husband and I look forward to cuddling with them at night, LOL! Every once in a while one will get off the bed and one of us will get up and go get them or we'll stay awake until they come back to the bed for us to pick them up and put them back on. We are so used to them being there, we miss them when they are not! They are great bed buddies
I understand the crate thing has to be used sometimes, but I've never had the heart to crate mine, but I've heard that some dogs like it. I'm a stay at home mommy so luckily I haven't had to do that. JMO
