Just as an FYI, I find these run much smaller than the traditional type you pull over the head. Rory has a 16" chest and I get her a large, and Lane has a 15" chest, and I get her a medium, which is a little snug. I think the measurements listed must be the measurements of the harness NOT the measurement the dog should have. Actually, you can see the discrepency of the the sizes between the two different patterns, so maybe the top one has newer sizes and the bottom one is the sizing we have for ours.
