These cute little things that our dogs do can be so dangerous.

My pup (not my Yorkie) took a pill out of my purse once ate it. This could have had killed her, but didn't.

The same dog took some Nicotine gum out of a wastepaper basket and chewed on it for a while. She lived through this also - but was bouncing off the walls all night.

Same dog - learned to check the pockets of my coats and jackets if I hung them on a chair...caught her eating lifesavers and gum doing this.

I know now that I have to be very careful with absolutely everything...even where I hang my jacket.

I guess they're not much different than little children. Have to watch them every minute!! And keep everything out of reach.

PS: My dogs have never gotten into $$$$ -- but my little brother flushed $140 down the toilet once. Couldn't get that back!!!
