I'm seeking some advice. My dog Tobey was knicked by the groomers on both his hind legs just above the pad of his feet on Fri. I didn't notice until sat, it was spot bleeding. It's not a lot of blood but after he goes out for walks he tends to bleed a little. I think it's because it's kind of on his heel/ achillies tendon area (if he had one). It's still seeping a little today, but only after he goes on walks. I cleaned it and have been applying neosporin to it.

The groomers I took him to is a well known place in the area and it wasn't his first time there. I called them but they're closed sun-mon.

Tobey acts fine. I've only seen him lick it twice. Should i take him to the vet? Can you apply a liquid bandage type product on a dog? Please advise.

PS i'm posting a pic to our profile page photo library for reference.

Thank you so much!
Razor burn or nicks should be seen by your vet, checked for possible infection. I wouldn't apply liquid bandage. However, I find it unusual that a good groomer didn't bring this to your attention. A good groomer would have provided you with meds and not charged you for the grooming. Contact the groomer at the first possible opportunity and inform them of the situation. See what transpires; meaning if they will refund your money..if not, hand them with the vet bill.
