She's not loose in the car. I have a booster seat that straps into the seat belt, and she wears her harness that is strapped into the booster seat. I also have a small crate and I've used that when traveling across the state.
It's just that there's basically no windows in the back so she can't see out. And there's no passenger airbag shutoff, so I don't want to put her in the front where she could see out.
