Default Rocky's Coat Progress

So I took all of your advice. First I purchased a thinning shears and used it on his legs. Then, in a moment of inspiration while watching an infomercial for When (sp?) hair care, I asked myself, does my dog really need shampoo? I actualy applied this new theory on myself first. So for the past several days, I've been cleaning my own hair by just wetting and rinsing well Then applying Mastey daily conditioner and leaving it on while I do the rest. Man what a difference, my hair feels much better. It's clean, and has body and I use lots of product, but there is no build-up and it is not flat like it usually is, so for now I'm able to use less product. So this weekend I did the same with Rocky same product. Then I blew him out and his hair also looks and feels great, It no longer feels cottony.

I suppose both of us will need a shampooing once in a while but for now, I'm keeping with this plan.

Thinning a bit and no more shampoo.
