The Hiccup reaction is not any different in Dogs, as it is in Humans.
One of the causes is a particle of food, which is in the esophagus,
which "irritates". That's why one has herd that a drink of water
will suppress/stop the Hiccuping. (being washed on down)
Take them to Water, but, like with Horses, will they drink ?
