Our Home Depot doesn't allow dogs anyway.
But, sounds like the employee just reached out to pet the dog. Wish the article gave more information. Like did the employee ASK to pet the dog first? or just reach out at the dog?
I'm always amazed at anyone that reaches out to pet a dog they don't know, without the owner's permission. There's this assumption that if it's a small cute dog, it's ok.
