I know that a knot at the injection site after vaccines isn't necesarily abnormal, but when does it become something to worry about? Whit got her puppy exam + 2nd round of shots on wednesday, and over the last cpl of days she has developed a pretty big hard lump at the site. It's about the size of a medium gumball...really can't think of another comparison. lol. It doesn't hurt her at all and after about 8 hours from the time she got her shots, she has been perfectly normal and playful. Of course it takes me way off guard to feel it, and I think about it much more than she does!
