Hey guys,
I was hoping someone could give me some advice about what to do with my 6month old Harley. When we got him had had really bad separation anxiety and we have finally gotton him to be okay when we go to work, no problems there. We keep him in a x-pen during the day and i come home for lunch and let him out for playtime, etc.. I have 2 other yorkies who have free range of the house because they are very well trained. The problem we are having is at night. I know alot of you let your babies sleep with you, but due to personal issues I do not. My older 2 yorkies sleep in their x pen at night, willingly in another room. Harley on the other hand, wants no part of that. We have been letting him sleep in our room in his pen, because he throws a fit if we dont. My goal is to get him out of our room completely. Please dont think that i am a bad mommy, because I love my babies dearly!! My goal is to get hm out and sleeping with the others at night, but this has been very difficult. Does anyone have any advice on what to do about this? I was thinking about maybe gradually moving his pen closer and closer out of the room. I just started taking him to training classes because the breeder that I got him from did a crappy job of getting him socialized and this has ben very good for him. Any advice?? I dont want him to think he belongs in our room at night
Thanks so much!!
