Default Thank you

I know that the barking and acting rather, well, nuts towards my BF is b/c she gets scared easily. She is also is a dominant dog BUT she's NOT dominant in my household, and she is very aware of that, so I think that may also cause some issues. Although she has been with me since she was about 4 months old. She was very calm as a puppy but as she got older she got more and more skittish. I think she is also skittish from birth, and it probably didn't help that she went everywhere with me for her first year. However, when I am not here, she is just the sweetest lil girl on the planet. Totally polite, well behaved, not picking fights with the other dogs or growling at nothing. When she barks at him or pick a fight with one of the other dogs, I always immediately correct it and put her on the floor. But she's just super protective, and I think, despite my correction, it may be getting worse. I am going to try to keep correcting it for a little while longer and then I will seek advise again.

As far as the wind issue, she's still freaked out. I don't cuddle her too much about it anymore, and she just sits there shaking, I mean I will tell her it's ok, but nothing absurd, and it doesn't seem to help. I was thinking about getting her her own little Kong, she loved her puppy one but she chewed through it, and figure maybe when it's windy I could try that to take her mind off of it, but I don't want her to think she'd getting rewarded. I know of 4 people who got the thunder shirt, and I was looking into getting one for my labradoodle b/c he's terrified of loud noises, but I haven't heard very good reviews, and b/c the noise isn't loud I don't know that it would work for this issue. As far as going for walks, if it's windy she won't go, I mean I have to seriously work to even get her down off the porch to go to the bathroom, a walk is pretty much not an option, but I will try to do that with her more and more, maybe then she will look at wind in a different way.

I am still working with her. Delilah is a special yorkie, she has hip Dysplasia and is incredibly dramatic, and very much a yorkie personality, so I am aware what I got into w/ her and I love her no matter what, but I just want her to not be so scared of stuff 1. so ppl don't think she's abused, ahha, sad but true and 2. so that she enjoys life more!

THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL THE HELP!!!
Please keep them coming I read them all and take them all into thought and I just really appreciate it! So does Delilah!!
