My Sasha will soon be two and I've noticed her color changing too! She was of course the black and tan as an "infant" and over time became a beautiful silver with tan/red head and feet. Lately I've seem very dark steely grey, almost black roots coming in. When we first had her groomed, they left a little flouce of her black baby hair on her tail which I couldn't bear to cut off.
It was her baby hair! Now it's gotten long and needs to be trimmed
. I love her silver, it's so light she almost glows! She's my moonbeam!
It kind of saddens me to see the change but she will still be my baby girl.
