Scarlett is turning a year old this Sunday, so I'm getting ready to transition both she and Rhett to the adult version of Blue Buffalo. The clerk at the feed store said since I am keeping to the same brand and same protein source, that I could do a straight switch. If I was concerned, I could do a 50/50 mix for a few days. In your experience, is that too fast? Should I do it over a longer period of time?

I'm going from BB Small Breed puppy with chicken and oatmeal to BB small breed with chicken and rice.
