Don't feel bad. I had the samething happen once. I felt horrible. I am very strict with the health of my babies and i was freaking with my vet saying how could this be! How could this happen. I clean ears weekly..I felt like such a loser.Once he calmed me down, he explianed that mites can be picked upin teh yard, mites that were dropped from a stray cat that itched his ear in my back yard..we have lots of those.
So, now I use Revolution..it protects them from mites fleas and other pests!
