It's a great possibility that your pup will still be squating at that time. However, if he's not. Here's a trick that I use. In the middle of the Pee Pad, I place an empty Plastic Bottle, weighted down my sand. I usually wrap layers of paper towels around the bottle and secure the towels with a large rubber band. There are also plastic fire hydrants that could do the same trick.
