This is just my opinion, and you are free to ignore me, but...
I wouldn't buy from the person. Obviously they are not his dogs to sell, so you don't know where the dogs are coming from or what their sire and dam are like. You get what you pay for in a lot of instances in life...I'd be weary of not knowing a thing about the pup...
As for asking to lower the price? I think that is the least of the worry here.
