My pom was hard to potty train, took me 7 mos, and now Teddie has given me a run for my money too. He's 4 mos. and he would go out to pee, then come in and pee 5-10 minutes later. I figured out he wasn't pee'ing a lot while outside, would get distracted and want to play, so he'd relieve a little and hold some in. I got to taking him outside by himself without the other dogs as distractions and praised him like a king when he went...several squats. Now when he goes out with his brothers and sister I give him extra time to go. If I catch him squatting in the house, or sniffing around, I say OH NO and grab him and go out. The OH NO startles him and he is learning that no potty in the house. I always use the word potty, no other, so he knows the word and what it is for. Now I see when I say "Let's go potty" I can see the word recognition register across his face. Good luck, I know it's a bit frustrating at times.
