Just a followup....
Becca has been home since about noon yesterday.
Actually, from her spunk, I couldn't tell she'd had anything
done what so ever.
Vet wanted/and did hold her overnight, which I didn't mind.
Given that anything could have gone wrong, I liked the idea
of her being right there, where they could react if necessary.
Also, it saved me from seeing her during recovery. That period
really "gets to me" when one of mine is so lethargic.
Lots of do's/dont's, mainly no jumping or chew toys, since we
did the dental as well. I have two little K-9's in a bottle now
Vet prescribed "Rimadyl" (for pain) which she didn't seem to need
at all. But, I gave it to her anyway, right before bedtime.
She slept like a rock, but, that's not unusual for her.
All in all, she's the tough little Tomboy trooper as always.
And as for me, a good night's rest (finally).
