I have been grooming mine for almost 3 years now and still get a little nervous, especially if I try something new. I just keep telling myself, it grows back! lol

Hot Rod has thin silky hair. When I have tried to grow him out, his hair is almost too stragly. Maggie has a really pretty coat-its straight but a lot thicker and fuller than Hot Rods. Hubby likes and wants to keep their butterfly ears and doesn't really say much about their body.
