I agree with this. If this guy is what you claim, a good breeder, and he is just having issues bringing the pup down, why would you ask for a lower price? Because the pup isn't there when you originally expected?
I think you wait, and buy from him if thats what you want, and pay what was agreed on, or you go an alternative route. I just think it seems strange to ask him for a lower price for this reason, especially since he is driving the pup down to you.
