She lost three litters - and has a house full of Maltese - and keeps breeding -this definitely does not sound good to me.
I know you're in a hurry to get a puppy - but perhaps you should slow down a little. It's far more important that you get a good little healthy puppy than a puppy real soon.
Also - you do have a Yorkie now, don't you. Perhaps you can just continue to enjoy her more for a while until the right Yorkie shows up.
Also - I think you are causing yourself a lot of unnecessary anguish being in such a hurry. Seems like you are crying through one disappointment after another - not good!
I'll bet if you can gather together a little more patience -- you'll get the perfect little pup in time.
I was also in a hurry to get mine and couldn't wait - I did look for a couple of months, but also bought the first little guy that I found available. And, did I ever luck out. He will probably be a little bigger than a lot of people would want, but he is a doll from heaven. 14-weeks old and a real handful right now. I was very fortunate and lucky to have gotten such a healthy delightful good-looking little guy. I thank my lucky stars every day.
Maybe Yorkies are like a lot of things. There are none for a long time and then "boom," all of a sudden, there are more available. Hope this happens soon for you.
Glad you stayed with YT - sounded like you were ready to give up. I think this site is filled with wonderful people who really love their little dogs. You shouldn't take any criticism personally. I think most of the criticism so far has been more directed at the breeders you have run across - not you!
Have patience - and don't set yourself up for so much disappointment. It may take time, but you will eventually find the little dog you are looking for.
Good luck - Carol Jean |
