When I was reading I thought of the " marking" idea- Ziva was hard to train and wasn't good at holding it, but still had similar problems to yours. She was spayed at 6 months and I was afraid something was damaged, we had everything checked out and put her on Proin temporarily. At about 8 months we had sudden territorial problems with Ziva and Lucy (10 yr old wheaten) it took 2-3 months to get that sorted out- letting Ziva become the "boss" (Lucy didn't care.)At the end of that craziness we had an outside trained pup, altho she will still mark a freshly washed dog bed if we don't let her have it first! |
