I feel so aweful for you and your granddaughter! We had a 23 yr old black cat that we loved too. She luckily died of natural cause 2 years ago.
But we did have a neighbor a few years ago with a pit bull, a rottweiler, and a dalmation that they let roam our neighborhood as a pack. After awhile we banded together with three other neighbors and took them to court. It worked, no more dogs roaming, but unfortunately that is all that some poeple will respond to after it is too late for a nice kitty like your Spookie. I hope you reported them to the authorities though so it doesn't happen again to someones elses pet or to your granddaughter! |
