I used it a few times after her bath, working in a dime sized amount at a time with my fingers after towel drying but before blow drying. It seemed to just make her coat feel like there's gel in it or something, not bad though, I just don't see any positive results. I've tried different amounts too. Maybe it works better when you put it on after the hair is dry? Plus, I've only used it after a bath, should it be used more often? I wish the directions on the bottle were more specific, since I have a whole bottle, I'd like to use it but maybe I'm just not doing it right or it's wrong for her hair type?
These are the instructions i found. For presto i clean him with a baby wipe or wet paper towel first then brush his hair and after that i apply the coat oil. It has worked well for him and his coat is super soft, i always get compliments on it. I think serum is heavier than coat oil so i don't think using daily will be a good idea, maybe once every 2-3 days.
Can be used on wet or dry coats. For optimal results, rub two or three drops of Liquid Silk between hands (in order to warm it) before applying to coat. Spread it out evenly and lightly on the coat while gently finger combing the hairs. When dealing with longer coats, add a few more drops and go under the coat, legs, chest, shoulders and the tips of the coat.
