I actually like Lady Gaga. But I do agree most of today's music sucks. It was way better in the early 00's and 90's especially for country music. Todays country music honestly sucks and I can't even fathom listening to it. I do agree the boy bands sucked lol. Although when I was a teen growing up in the late 90's I only liked 'N Sync lol. I personally don't listen to that anymore but I do prefer older music compared to todays mush.

Then...by late 90s, here came the boy bands and the pop music and ugh, I checked out. One of my biggest music peeves is the whole genre of a 'singer' who only lip synchs -- and then dances all over the place. However, as the audience - we're supposed to believe he/she IS singing, while also dancing like crazy. Anyone ever try doing that? Yeah, doesn't work. This type of genre goes along with the current trend of auto-toning people's voices too...and I dunno, it just seem to unauthentic to me.

I will always love music from the 60s, 70s, early 80s (REM, Pixies, The Replacements..), early-mid 90s.....but now I just feel like I can't get on board w/ anything .

On the subject of music, what do people think of Lady Gaga?
