First of all I am customer service, not SHIPPING, I do not fill the orders!!! I get blamed for everything!!
My boss is down my neck telling me I cant ship to some customers bc they owe too much money, and our A/R person is NEVER here to collect money which makes my job harder. Ugh everything is bothering me, I am on the verge of breaking down. I just want to walk out and never come back! Its so frustrating! I needed to get off my chest, bc I am two steps from pulling Office Space on this company!
Even tho I hate my job right now, nothing but good is going on in my life away from here. Dh and I are in ESCROW!!!!! Whoooo hooooo!! We are very happy! It is a 30 day escrow and I am so happy to move out of the apt we are in! That is another thing that is driving me crazy!! The people above us are so loud, I cant take Pnut on a walk without running into some nut job. People always stare at you, no backyard for Pnut.. The list goes on and on!
I am trying to think positive!! I have 7 more hours to go, then I get to see the 2 people who I love, Pnut and DH. Thanks for letting me vent! |
I'm sorry you are feeling irked. I wish I could have gone Office Space on a job I hated before. Or better yet, Half Baked, when the cuban guy quit his fast food job and told everyone "f you, f you, f you,....you're cool...., f you, I'm out!" I
so wish I did that at the last "slave" job I had. We had to clock in by thumbprint. I would joke around that next we'd clock in by retina scan. If we clocked in 10 mins before our shift, or 10 mins after, we were put on "notice". (We were on hourly, even though 99% of our industry and skill level were on salary.) More than 2 notices per pay period (2 weeks) the vp of the company would give you this highlighted statement of the days we were late (or early) and made you sign it; terms of a write up if they so inclined. Every pay period the vp paid me a visit. Bc I hated my job. btw, we only got a 30 min lunch break, but their reasoning was they fed us. The food they fed up was many times rotten or inedible, and many of my coworkers got sick. How nice of them. Once they fed us spaghetti and garlic bread. The green on the bread was NOT parsley. Anyway, I'm rambling. When I gave my two weeks, I came in on time every single day.

Those were the best two weeks of my career there. My coworkers and my direct manager were awesome though. They threw me a party and gave me flowers.
If you're curious, I worked for a major junior fashion retailer ( i worked at corporate) that is in nearly every single mall nowadays. Disposable fashion at it's best. If you want to know, pm me. I haven't set foot in one of their stores since ( it was 2002, and I've never looked back).
Sorry Deanna, I got carried away! I just, ugh,

worst company ever! Hang in there girl! That's what I was trying to say! LOL!!!
