Default Please pray for my husband Mike,

Mike has been sick for the past 4 years with End Stage Liver Failure. He has been having a problem with fluid collecting in his belly area. ( Ascites) For the last years or so. Last Thursday, I took him to the hospital for a draining of the ascites. When we arrived ,he was not feeling well at all. They took his blood Pressure and said it was low. 85/54. They started the draining and with in about 30 minutes his Blood Pressure dropped low then returned to around the same as when he stared the draining. I asked them to please stop because he was pretty much out of it. Sleeping and acting funny. Well, all of the sudden his pressure dropped to 28/12. They decided to stop the draining. This was the second one in a week. They took off 10 liters, the Friday before. This time they stopped at 8 liters. When his pressure dropped they asked me if they were to try to resuscitate him if he coded.I of course said YES. So they brought in the paddles to do so if needed. The Doctor decided that Mike needed to be seen in the emergency room because something was wrong.I could not agree more. They called the Doctor on call, He admitted him to the hospital. About 3 hours later the Doctor returned to inform me that not only was Mike in Liver failure he was in kidney failure as well. He was dehydrated, had pancreatitis, his potassium was sky high and his blood pressure was very low. They transferred him to C.C.U. right away. They did not give him much hope at all. He was in the CCU for 4 days and by Monday about 4 am his Kidneys were back working again. he was no longer dehydrated, and his potassium was coming down. He's now in a regular room. Trying to get strong enough to come home.Mike is a very sick guy, he has a very bad liver and is very weak, but is doing much better then he was last Thursday. He was put on a lot of prayer chains and a lot of praying was going on for him. Thank god. He still has a long was to go. but he has come a long way already. The Doctors can not believe how far he has come. He is walking with assistance, and eating on his own. The hospital wants to put him in rehab, but I am not sure about that. I am used to taking care of him on my own and feel like I should just have him come home when they release him Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you all so much.
