We have had so much going with Tina lately that this was unreal. We got called back and the tech took her temp. and said, "This couldn't be right." She took it again and it was 106. She was so stressed that she almost had a stroke. They began to rub her down with an alkahol rub and put fans on her. I was scared to death. They would not give her a shot or do nothing she was that close. They soaked her down and wet her feet and wrapped her in a towel and at that point it was 104. We got her home, continued the rub and put her right in front of fans. We finally got it down to 102. Tonite she is doing fine. I am going to have her checked (was going to today) for ct, which they said is probably one of her problems, plus she wants her to lose 3lbs. Thank God tonite I still have my baby. How fast something can happen. Give your baby a hug tonite. |
I'm so sorry you and Kayla had to go through that. What a scare! I am glad she is doing better. You two will be in my prayers!
