I wholeheartedly agree with everybody else - get a ramp or steps now before something really bad happens. These doggies just often do not think before they go - they just react too fast for us to grab them. Tibbe is a maniac when he's like that and he's way too fast for me to catch.

In the den, besides his dog steps I now have his big Cloud Nine bed from YHR Boutique placed up next to the couch beside those steps so he's got sort of double protection in here. He can still jump over the steps and bed when he's really manic over something he's just heard and rushing to check out but at least these things mitigate as much as possible the chance of an injury.
