We used a pac n play for the first 5 months or so, then granduated to an xpen, then graduated to free run!! Our current baby yorkie has a pac n play as well....although right now he stays with his momma in an xpen when were are gone....when home, he free runs too. But, when momma goes home, we will start putting him in the pac n play during the day! Just do be careful...although our older yorkie never climbed his, Ive read that many do, and can fall to the floor and get hurt! Thats a long fall for a tiny baby!
