My daughter named Troy before she even knew she was getting him. She randomly one day just said if I get a yorkie if it's a boy it'll be Troy and a girl it'll by Gabriella (Gabby for short). Both named after High School Musical characters.
Troy's name actually fits him so I'm content with his name choice. I think I tend to pick names before I even get the dog, so I can tell the breeder and they are able to start calling the dog a name that he'll be familiar with when we bring him home.
I think Quaid is a pretty interesting name. I do like it .
