My daughters are 8 and 9...and their little friends always want to pick them up. I nicely tell them "please don't pick her up, it's very dangerous." (I say 'her' because Peyton is on crate rest and they don't get the chance to pick him up."
I see the temptation, but yes, it does get tiresome....especially when they have to be told again and again.
