pretty strict.
Peeing/pooping anywhere but pads, jumping up on people, begging, and biting are just not acceptable to me.
It's helped that ZoE wants to please & learns very quickly. With potty-training, I praise, praise, praise like crazy & do a happy dance & sing what a wonderful smart girl she is, while walking to get her a treat every time she goes on her pad. I've no problem doing this for life, if it keeps my floors & rugs potty-free. What I find funny now, is my non-dog-loving friends that visit, are so used to seeing me do it, that if I happen to be out of the room & miss seeing ZoE go on her pad, THEY will do the happy dance & tell her how smart she is, while getting her a treat
