I sure as heck don't want her to ever fear me even though I would never hurt her. Just wondering what you let your YT get away with and how strict you are with your fur-baby.
Dido Not strict at all here When is winter and the winds are so ferocious that I worry it will carry my babies away, or the cold so bitter that I'm terrified about frost bite, or the pouring rain that could give them pneumonia, I beg them to do it inside in a wee-wee pad. I can replace the floors, I can't replace them.

Nini doesn't have accidents any more. There was a time when she decided to go potty in the house right after we adopted Nicky, I guess to show her disapproval or to get attention. She stopped that. Now she can hold it...boy, can she hold it

My baby-boy, Nicky...he's another story He can get away with ANYTHING He goes potty (# 1 only) inside at night. But, he does it at the french door leading to the back yard. His daddy's fault, really, so I can't blame Nicky ("the baby").

It took me a while to train both of them (Nini again) to hold it at night. But hb would pick them up at midnight, or at 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 A.M. to take them outside (no consistency). In esense, hb was constantly undoing what I was doing

One time hb was out of town on business for a week and the fur-kids did great going potty right before bed time around 10 P.M. and again in the morning around 6 A.M. It was BEAUTIFUL But then, daddy came home and we were back to daddy's way.

It's not that they can't hold it, they very well can. I got verification when we rented a house in Fla for a couple of weeks. It had no fenced yard, so we had to walk them before bedtime and in the morning only, not like at home where they ring the bell and we open the french door and watch them from inside (we have a piece of or property fenced in for them).

Not one time did they potty inside, though they could have (we paid extra for the cleaning ), but they are well behaved in a stranger's home. Then we got a vacation home in Fla. and we've been there 3 times for a couple of weeks each time and same thing...no potty inside, though daddy walks them after 8 A.M. So, I know it's not a bladder problem, it's a daddy problem So mommy doesn't get upset, mommy just takes care of cleaning it
