Pup needs to learn bite inhibition. When I got Teddie at 12 weeks he had to learn it. He would gnaw and bite some, and I taught him not to do it by saying "OUCH!" I also taught him "niiiiice" so he knows how to be gentle when he is playing with a toy that is in my hand. It's a normal issue that all pups go through, whether it is us or other animals they learn through how you react to it. Good luck!!
