We have been riding for almost 10 years and although we haven't ever taken our boys with us I have seen quite a few people riding with their dogs. The one that stands out the most was a guy going across the US with his dog in a side car! The dog had goggles and I think a little (fake I'm sure) helmet. It was very cute. I saw a guy riding with his dog perched on the tank...now that is an accident waiting to happen.
