My Grandparents had a Silky, when she passed they had her cremated and put in a gold urn, it had her name and dates on the front. My Gma also put her collar around it. She then put it on her dresser in her bedroom. She talked to her every morning. I think that is the best way, that way your loved one can be around you all the time.
