yes, like Mary said, my girl gets retested for heart worms, when she goes for her well check up after the babies are weaned, and start the front line and heart guard again, is just a precausion that has to be taken. also I have a smaller fenced area by the back door well lighted that I use after it gets dark so the dogs don't go out in the dark part of the property, it works great in the winter and in the summer.. and specially when you have a pregnant girl...
