My sister and her husband have never had children, had a rotweiller when they first got married and when he died they never got another pet. So for 12 years they had no pets, no children. When I got Preston they would make fun of me for dressing Preston, my brother in law would harass me unmercifully, then about the same time we got Paisley, they got a Pug. They now have two pugs who go EVERYWHERE with them. They buy them clothes, dress them, cook for them, take them to the vet for EVERY little thing..............
. While they don't have yorkies, they have found the same joy and love for their pets that we all have. I think it may not just be us yorkie parents that are a bit crazy, just people who really make pets a part of their FAMILY.
