Poor Rufus - and you-, your story made me very tearful and sad for you. Saying when to let go is so very hard, but dear Rufus told you how he felt in his doggie way. I know how you feel as I had to make that fateful decision when my last baby was very sick with kidney failure. Please don't feel guilty about the decision, you will do the right thing for your beloved pet.
