I don't understand why anyone would do that. I remember over either the past summer or the summer before I chose to stay in the car while my mom went to grab something in the car... I didn't realize how hot it was and I was literally drenched in sweat. I was wearing a tank top and a skirt and you could see the sweat on my arms and legs forming... I was only in the car for maybe 20 minutes... My mom actually got really mad that I didnt call her do something. I couldn't imagine a dog enduring that with their fur coat.
You did the right thing by calling. The only other thing you could have done was confront the woman but then you risk her reaction and just a whole lot of drama. I know in my neighborhood as soon as I see a loose dog I call animal control and if I saw a dog in that kind of heat in a car I would call the cops too. |
