I personally would NEVER vaccinate every year. It's way too much and simply an overload. Especially when it's been proven their puppy vaccines last for quite a long time in their system. I also only get DHPP and none of the corona, lepto or other unnecessary vaccines.

I do DHPP at 8, 12 and 15ish weeks. Then rabies around 4 months. Then DHPP booster at one year as well as rabies booster. I will be giving him rabies every 3 yrs (because it's the law) but DHPP, I *may* never give again in his lifetime. Maybe once more (when he turn 4yrs old, it'll have been 3yrs since last DHPP) but other than that, no more. My vet said all shots she gave were good for 3yrs, but am unsure if I am even going to do that.

I like Dr. Dodd's vaccine protocol.

Me too I follow the same exact protocal with my dogs I honestly don't know of any 1 year Rabies vaccine? I'm 99% sure it's all the same thing, maybe you're thinking of the Rabies booster they get one year after their first? After that it the law says every 3 (unless NY is different but I don't think so).
