I would really appreciate any input you can provide as to what you look for in a dog winter snow/rain jacket. I have a couple of questions posted below. I'm interested in ideas for coats for both small and large dogs.

1. Do you prefer a hood?
2. Must it have a D-Ring attachment on the jacket itself?
3. Do you like sleeves?
4. Velcro or zipper closure?
5. If attached around dog's belly do you prefer full coverage or one strap under the belly?

Thanks again.
1. I prefer no hood
2. Like the others, I would prefer the slot to pull the d-ring through from the harness
3. Yes I like sleeves for winter but not for the fall
4. Velcro definitely
5. I agree with the others that one strap is easier, the wider the better except for the boy dogs.

It seems like every t-shirt, sweater, or jacket I find for Toby goes too far back on his belly so when we go for a walk and he has to potty, the clothing gets wet.

I'm with Brit, I don't have a raincoat for Toby and he does NOT like to get wet. Would love to see you carry raincoats too!
