you can buy some cleaner, soak them, clean them really good, oil them, and then they will probably start to work better. I groom about 6-8 dogs a day and I find that soaking my blades overnight tends to really help them. But when they do, in fact, get dull, it is really cheap to have them sharpened. a lot cheaper than replacing them!!! I would suggest looking into that first, but if you want to buy new blades, there are great websites to order from. Just make sure they are compatible with your clippers. You don't usually have to stick to the andis brand of blades...most wahl or oster clipper blades will work (depending on which clippers you have)
