My six year old male Yorkie who is normally impeccably behaved has taken to destroying the front door (and the bathroom door) when I have been out for relatively short periods. He is used to being left alone for longer periods and is normally well behaved and very clean. He is used to having the run of the house including bedrooms but now that he has started to inflict superficial damage on our rented home he will have to be seriously confined when I am out. Why this behaviour all of a sudden?
