I care too, only in that it's the end of an era though, as I quit watching soaps almost 30 years ago when my sons were born. It is kind of sad, I've known Erica Kane since I was a kid (11 y/o) and guess I thought she would be around forever.
I can't even imagine what ABC could replace the shows with that will ever be as successful. If it helps to cheer you up though....who knows, in true soap opera fashion....they could all be brought back in a new soap......"Back to Life"
