Hello dear forum,

My yorkie is 5 years old, and he is quite well taught. However, he has this bad habit of littering on the stairs, which leads to the washroom, in which he has his litter there. The funny thing is that if we guide him to his litter, he just goes there willingly, cause he still knows thats the place, however, when left alone he just litters on the stairs again.

We have tried to spray various kind of perfumes in the staircase, and appropriate sprays bought from pet shops which are supposed to prevent dogs littering around, however, none of these work.

Any suggestsions please?

I would have the stairs steam cleaned and keep a wach if possible
