yes if toasted they taste fine, just a hint of doughyness... but when they are fresh out of the oven I usually eat a few (they're a bit smaller than normal bagels) and don't like to toast them then.
I don't think I'm leaving them in too long, usually 5-10 seconds. Maybe my water isn't boiling right.
