The terms- TEACUP, MINATURE and STANDARD Yorkshire Terrier are big marketing tools today. When someone calls or emails me- and uses those terms I ask what they mean. It is very interesting asto what has been represented to the public. Seems like we are selling poodles not yorkies. I then try and explain the terms and what they should look for.
I am suprised that at 15 oz baby was allowed to be shipped. In Indiana they have to be 8 weeks and a 1 1/2 pounds. That is pushing it for me- I like 12 weeks and closer to 2 pounds. Shipping any dog puppy or adult can be stressfull at that distance. |
